Red Towers Armory/Empty chamber flag
A chamber flag is the fastest way to show a rifle is clear. This one sits in the chamber and stops the bolt carrier from closing, so the action stays open and anyone standing behind the line can see the gun is empty without handling it.
The red body reads from across a bay, which is what range officers and match staff are looking for. Keep one in the bag for every rifle you bring to a match, or leave it in the gun during transport and storage so the condition of the chamber is never a question.
