 Picking the Wrong FFL Can Be Costly

It is your responsibility to choose an FFL dealer who accepts firearm transfers. If a dealer refuses a transfer, you are responsible for all return shipping costs and reshipping to a new FFL. Refused transfers cannot be forwarded to another dealer—they must be returned to us first and then shipped again at your expense.

During checkout, you will be asked to select an FFL where your firearm will be transferred. Be aware that not all firearms can be picked up across state lines, and while many long guns are legal for out-of-state pickup, some dealers will not transfer to non-residents.

FFL transfers are not a free service. Transfer fees vary by dealer, and some FFLs:

• Charge higher fees than others

• Require prior authorization

• Have limited pickup days or hours

• Will not accept transfers without advance notice

Always contact your chosen FFL before checkout and ask:

• What is your transfer fee?

• What are your pickup hours and days?

• Are there any additional steps required?

• Will you transfer to an out-of-state customer?
