The DUAL-LOK 5 AM Silencer is a managed backpressure 5.56mm suppressor constructed from Griffins proprietary Nickel 625X powder alloy utilizing state of the art DMLS additive manufacturing technology. This major evolution to the DUAL-LOK family delivers incredible market leading sound and flash reduction with minimal backpressure while maintaining the rock solid reliability that professionals demand. Right handed shooters benefit from the managed backpressure design while left handed shooters can opt for the HRT-5 AM variant.
These silencers are built on Griffins rock solid DUAL LOK mounting system which has become one of the most trusted active locking mounting systems preferred by law enforcement and military professionals. This advanced mount provides exceptional accuracy with minimal and repeatable POI shift and completely eliminates the fear of unintended loosening during prolonged courses of fire. The proprietary patent pending Nickel 625X alloy showed in testing a 68 percent increase in yield and tensile strength over additively manufactured Inconel 625 at 1200 degrees F making it stronger at elevated temperatures than traditional suppressor materials.
The new low backpressure flash hider end cap reduces system backpressure by peripherally venting gases resulting in softer recoil impulses less wear and tear on the host firearm and reduced operator exposure to toxic gases. Featuring an integrated DUAL LOK mounting system managed backpressure baffle stack printed core laser welded to machined rear for warranty serviceability and perpetual lifetime warranty this suppressor is full auto rated and includes the DUAL LOK EZ Brake muzzle device and branded Griffin silencer pouch.
