Barret combines accuracy and firepower with the M107A1-S. The M107 rifle series was designed for the most demanding customers of earth, the United States Armed Services, and is the result of over the three decades of innovation, testing, and mechanical evolution. The M107A1-S itself offers a wide range of upgrades over the original, one of the most notable is an improved compatibility with suppressors. The barrel has been reduced to 20-inches, this was done to better accommodate the lengthy .50-caliber suppressors – many of which are well over a foot long – allowing for effective suppressed fire with minimal effect on the rifle’s overall length. The bolt carrier and buffer assemblies have also been optimized for use with a suppressor thanks to a Nickel Teflon Coating to reduce carbon fouling and maintenance after suppressed firing. Another notable upgrade of the M107A1-S is a steel receiver for enhanced durability.

In addition to its suppressor augmentations, the M107A1-S offers all the same renowned features as the original. It comes equipped with a titanium bipod and monopod for optimal stability when shooting from a bench rest or prone position. The cylindrical muzzle brake greatly reduces the harsh recoil of the .50-caliber cartridge, and serves as a solid mounting interface for Barrett’s QDL suppressor. Furthermore, the M107A1-S comes standard with the same extremely reliable recoil operated semi-automatic action as the original.

IMPROVED COMPONENTS: Bolt and Bolt Carrier, Hard Stop Ejector, Bolt Index Pin, Hydraulic Buffer. Designed to be used with a suppressor, this one-of-a-kind rifle allows you to combine signature reduction capabilities with the flawless reliability of the original Barrett M107, but with a rifle weight reduction of 5 pounds. An all new bolt carrier group has been designed and is key to making the rifle suppressor ready. Its steel four port cylindrical muzzle brake is engineered to work seamlessly with a quick attach Barrett QDL Suppressor. The lightweight aluminum upper receiver features an integrated 27 MOA optics rail. Inside the upper receiver, the bolt carrier rides on a hardened steel anti wear strip for added durability. A thermal-guard cheek piece protects the user's face from extreme heat or cold. The rear barrel stop and front barrel bushing are bolted and bonded with a high strength compound. A titanium barrel key and fully-chrome-lined bore and chamber add to the rifle's durability. The newly designed titanium and polymer monopod is adjustable from either side. The M107A1 rifle's lower receiver includes an aluminum recoil buffer system that's optimized for use with the Barrett QDL Suppressor. The bolt carrier's components are protected with a mix of ultra hard coatings and advanced nickel Teflon plating that increases lubricity, is corrosion resistant and greatly eases cleaning. Numbered witness holes on the magazine are just another example of how even the smallest detail makes a powerful difference.
